What to Bring on election Day

In Florida a valid government issued ID is necessary for voting. 

Acceptable forms of ID include:

  • State of Florida Drivers License

  • State of Florida ID Card

  • United States Passport

  • Active Military IDs

Before Election Day

You can check your voter registration status, see your sample ballot, find your voting location, request an absentee ballot or track your absentee ballot here. 

KNow your Rights

In Miami we sometimes hear of voters going to the polls and being turned away from voting because of an error in matching addresses or other technicalities. 

Do not leave a polling location without filling out a "provisional" ballot which should allow you to vote. We also recommend you read the ACLU's guide to your rights in Florida.
